The state Capital of California is Sacramento. California which is generally known as The Golden State came into being on the 9th of September 1850. California covering 163,696 sq mi of land is the 3rd largest state in U.S.
California land quickly accelerates into the rocky cliffs of the Coastal Mountains. California diverse and dense series of landforms include the giant redwood trees of the northwest to the Mars-like landscapes of the southeast; from snow-capped mountain peaks to its fertile. This bread is made with yeast and sour bread dough. Other food that are famous in California are the cioppino, Cobb salad, ranch dressing and the California roll.

California's most of the states have a Mediterranean climate, due to the state's large size. The climate ranges from the warm, dry summers and mild, wet winters. The offshore currents often create summer fog near the coast.
