    History & Geography:
    The state Capital of California is Sacramento. California which is generally known as The Golden State came into being on the 9th of September 1850. California covering 163,696 sq mi of land is the 3rd largest state in U.S.
    It has a population of 38.8 Million. This state is famous for the Golden Gate Bridge, Hollywood.
    California land quickly accelerates into the rocky cliffs of the Coastal Mountains. California diverse and dense series of landforms include the giant redwood trees of the northwest to the Mars-like landscapes of the southeast; from snow-capped mountain peaks to its fertile. This state is bordered by the sandy beaches of its Pacific Ocean coastline.

    Natural Resources:
    California has a variety and ample amount of Natural Resources. There are different Resources in each district of California. The Colorado River supplies water to Los Angeles and other cities and there is an abundant supply of Boron which is used in making of glass. Last but not the least oil and natural gas are found near the coast of Santa Barbara and Long Beach.

    Economy:
    The Economy of California is massive enough to be compared to the largest of the countries. The one quarter of the state's economy is dependent upon the trade and international related commerce. California's employment economy is based on five massive sectors of Trade, Transportation and utilities; government; professional and business services; education and health services; and leisure and hospitality

    Delicacies:
    California has some delectable cuisines and delicacies but, one of its famous foods is the sourdough bread. This bread was made in the Boudin Bakery since the California Gold Rush in 1849. This bread is made with yeast and sour bread dough. Other food that are famous in California are the cioppino, Cobb salad, ranch dressing and the California roll.


    Climate:
    California's most of the states have a Mediterranean climate, due to the state's large size. The climate ranges from the warm, dry summers and mild, wet winters. The offshore currents often create summer fog near the coast.

    The U.S state of California is divided into 58 districts. On February 18, 1850 the region was first divided into twenty-seven districts. These were further sub-divided to form sixteen additional counties by 1860.

    Transportation:
    The state of California has a complicated and progressive transportation system. The state other than its car culture and extensive network of freeways and roads has a vast array of rail, sea, and air transport. Several subway, light rail, and commuter rail networks are found in many of the state's largest population centers.
